Basswood Resort Platte City, Platte City

We had a wonderful family getaway with lots of fun activities to keep the kids entertained. The cabin was cozy but lacked some basic amenities like towels and had issues with the shower. While the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the overall experience was somewhat marred by the cabin's cleanliness and the pest problem. Still, we appreciated the beautiful surroundings and the range of activities available.

We had a family reunion at Basswood, and while the property is beautiful and activities are plentiful, there were several drawbacks that affected our stay. The cabins were clean but a bit cramped, and it was frustrating to deal with water issues during our visit. The location is great for exploring, but expect noise from planes overhead. Overall, it's a lovely spot for gatherings, just with some hiccups.

This hotel has a lot of potential with its great communal spaces and lively atmosphere, but it looks like it needs significant improvements in maintenance and cleanliness. The pool area and clubhouse are nice for family gatherings, yet I faced issues with the room's upkeep, making my stay less enjoyable. The location for campers is decent, but the inconsistency in service and lack of attention to detail really detracted from the experience.

I brought my daughter to KC for an early flight and chose this place based on previous reviews. It seems great for a summer family trip, but during the off-season, the service really drops. We had some hiccups with the drinks being mostly expired, and the overall experience could have been better if I had done more research beforehand.

The park has some nice aspects, like a fantastic setting and clean rooms, but there are clear areas it needs to improve on. While I enjoyed my stay overall, the parking was challenging, and the maintenance of facilities left much to be desired. The price felt a bit high for the experience I received.
